Deron Williams Plans to Take His Talents...
To Turkey? The New Jersey Nets PG is planning to play in Turkey in the fall if the NBA lockout has not yet been settled. Williams' agent Jeff Schwartz confirmed Thursday that the All-Star point guard has struck a 1 year $5 million agreement to play for the Besiktas (the team that Allen Iverson played for the previous season). The agreement would also include a car, home, and personal security. Atlanta Hawks big man Zaza Pachulia also will join the Turkish team. According to some sources, the Besiktas will be in talks with Kobe Bryant and other NBA superstars in the upcoming weeks. With the lockout prevalent, many others NBA players may follow suit...
